thanks Rambaba (in comments). It is there under Battery > menu (3 dots) > Sleeping apps and then select the app you want.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
After the recent One UI Pie update, I'm unable to put "rarely used applications" into sleep state.
"Shareit" app launches by itself after the Samsung OS Pie update and I want to put it into sleep mode. Unable to find this option anywhere in Settings. Can someone please help?
We have an option to restrict the application running in background but that is completely different in this scenario.
(Restricting it in background, will terminate the transfers happening, if the app is minimized. )
