Dear friends
Give fred back to Samsung team that provide android 10 update for our Note 8 devices
Reasons why note 8 is eligible for android 10 update
At the time of note 8 was launched at that time Samsung 8.0 was available but Samsung launched note 8 with android 7
After 3 months they released android 8.1 to note 8
In my point of view it's not the major update.
After that we recieve android 9. In my point of view it's one major update
Still Google nexus phones and LG 2016 and 2017 flagships getting android 10 update why they didn't released android 10 update for our note 8 devices?
Reason they didn't get profits with our older flagship devices so they didn't bother about us. This is the open secret from Samsung
Right now S 10 and Note 10 series are getting software updates after two years they are also facing same issue
So give feedback from Samsung members app and told them to change their update policy else we choose other branded phones which give more support then Samsung
We are paying more than $850 to 900$ for our phone
So why we keep silent. We deserved more support when compare to other models

As a response to your long question here's my short answer. "Samsung's policy of providing 2 major updates in a product's life cycle".

who told what about note 3?
I am using Samsung from 2012 on ward's.
they said If the device is capable then we launch update
here my question is note 8 powerful enough to run android 10
so they have to launch
I got satisfied answer from Samsung developers team stating that android 10 one ui 2.0 was undergoing some diagnostic tests. if it works fine with all aspects then they launch android 10 update in February 2020
I don't want any Samsung devotee to supporting Samsung

Even some brands like Oneplus will provide only two major android updates and thereafter will get oly security updates. So you cant blame only Samsung.

what about Google and apple phones ?
if you are devotee of Samsung I can't do anything
Samsung flagships are twice the cost of one plus so we expect much more
Samsung note 3 was getting 3 major updates. That is the only phone Samsung supports 3 major updates
