Reason why I need -MONTHLY SECURITY PATCHES

Hi All,

Again #Samsung has let us down in terms of monthly security patches. I own a NOTE 20 Ultra 5G which is eligible for monthly security patches but since December, they are not providing on time. Right now, I on Feb patch which is too old for my work profile results BLOCKED.

I spend 100k just Because of their promises for monthly security update. 

They are not listening to any of the users issuues. Do we have to remind them everytime that we need patch to operate the work profile.

I wish, I could've choosen iOS instead of this **bleep**.

This is unacceptable. They have ruined this awesome device through updates and now they abandon the monthly updates delayed for months. 

Now, they are showing their true colors.

Very disappointed. 

Now tell me who will be responsible if I loose any important communication. 

What a pathetic way to treat their customers with harassment as an add-on.

Please look into it and provide it at the earliest.

I think the problem is only for Samsung India. Other countries get monthly security patches comparatively faster.

Yes Samsung India is extra Ultra pro max lazy 😴

Yes, they have tat period of 3 days at max .. if they delayed they will have to pay haftey amount as adjustments unlike in India.

Well, my company gave me choices that time with 12 pro and Note 20 Ultra and a few more. But i choose this.. its my fault. I was so proud to be a ultra owner but they prove me wrong.

I don't think it's completely your fault...do you deploy Samsung updates? 😁

In fact, your company should know which platform is more secure and updated regularly in India...highlight the issue to someone, they will either make some changes in the policy or make iPhones mandatory.

Sometimes I suspect even iOS devices in India must be getting slower updates as compared to other countries, but about that, I can't say for sure....I have an older iPad that has already reached it's end life.

Hmm who am i to deploy samsung updates??

My company is very well known about every brand and update cycle in india and thats why they stick to monthly updates otherwise android version was also in count. They wont change policy coz as i know almost 99/100 have iphone not android in my company. And have a secure app for iOS which is designed in 2021 as per our org security requirements as an add-on. So delay in updates in iOS doesn't matters. But for Android they dont have such app bcoz a few have android as their business phones.

Samsung should have provided security patch update to Note 20 after S21 Series as it is a flagship device. Even my Mom's Samsung Galaxy J6 got updated today with Feb security patch, what a joke 🤬

Ab Note ko merge kiya so Samsung wants sirf S Series ya Fold/Flip Series ko log yaad rakhe. Note ko vanish karna hai but maybe they don't know Note will never be forgotten.
