Hello,

Unfortunately, after the Quickshare update where it is merged with Nearby share, it fails every time I try to share any file from my Note 20 Ultra to my S10 5G although Quickshare app and associated apps have been updated on both phones.

Anyone having the same issue, any one can help?

Many people have reported that Quickshare is now slower and lags after it had reached optimal performance before the merge.

Cheers,

It has happened to me many times as you mentioned there are some bugs in clickshare maybe it will be fixed in the next update.

While this merge helps all users across Android world to share files, this update kind of messed things up, at least for some variants of Galaxy devices.

They might as well have changed the name to "NeverShare" lol

Kindly find a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the Quickshare problem:

Restart Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches. Try restarting both your Note 20 Ultra and S10 5G to see if it helps.

Check Network Connection: Ensure that both devices have a stable internet connection, either through Wi-Fi or mobile data. Quickshare relies on a network connection to transfer files.

Clear App Cache and Data: Go to Settings > Apps > Quickshare (or Nearby Share) > Storage, and then clear the cache and data for the app. This can sometimes resolve issues related to app performance.

Reset Network Settings: Resetting network settings on both devices can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Check for Updates: Make sure that both devices have the latest software updates installed. Sometimes, updates include bug fixes that address issues like this.

Disable and Re-enable Quickshare: Go to Settings > Connections > Quickshare (or Nearby Share), and then disable the feature. Wait for a few moments, and then re-enable it to see if it resolves the problem.
