Problem with contacts

My contacts are getting merged automatically. Have problem with my friend's pbone alson its same note 8. The 2 contacts numbers are getti g merged and when someone calls its showi g another person's name. And its getting trouble in whatsapp also. Sometimes when i serch a name i cant find that in contacts and its showing in another name. Its making a big trouble. Not one or two contacts, its more than 70-80 or maybe mkre than 100 numbers.. and even if i seperatw one number its going back like same sometimes.. this is all messed up here. I have attached a few and there is lot more. even namer are getting mixed eg 1. joseph paul, 2. john davis and sometimes its showing joseph john davis. Please help.

copy contacts to another device and delete your data in samsung cloud and your phone. then copy the contacts to....... and u r done

thanks for the reply. if i copy the contacts, it will be like normal automatically? and do i need to put the sync off ? with google or samsung cloud?

its not working. when i copied to another phone its coming like this in that phone. under same name its showing both contacts.

no u can select the contacts and send it to a WhatsApp number. then do it. u do it. u don't need to off sync. please copy the contacts in this method.
