Power button not functioning

suddenly I noticed that the power button is not working. Any idea on this?

as this is physical button issue so have to visit service centre

you are right, I have to visit as there are no chance that this is any kind of software problem

see, if completely not working then its physical issue, but if only with some specific app then it may be something else, as few days ago one user posted that physical button not worked only when he was using Samsung video player app, other than that work fine
but anyway do visit service centre its better

Thanks, another thing happening along with this is the screen is waking up automatically after few seconds. I disabled everything like wake on pickup etc still.

as of now i would like to suggest you to do these steps and then observe

A. Wipe Cache Partition.

Steps to perform.

1) Turn off the device.

(Connect with type C cable and connect withpc/laptop/type C earphone only for Android 11 )

2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.
3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".
5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.
6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

B. Reset App Preferences.
Settings >Apps> Tap on Top Right 3Dots and select Reset App preferences.

C. Go to settings >general Management >reset>reset settings.
