I am using Galaxy Note 20 and whenever I get whatsapp calls, there is no pop-up notification on my phone screen to show who is calling before I answer. The screen remains blank and I only hear a ring tone that there is an incoming whatsapp call coming. Ordinary voice calls show up who is calling and I can decided whether to accept or reject the call at that time. How can I rectify this situation in order to see who isaking the whatsapp call?

Hi, Luckiemol please perform a soft reset of your device.

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however, keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds. This is a soft reset and will not factory reset your phone.

Hi there. Not sure if your problem is solved. But also...in settings make sure that data saver is not active and that WhatsApp app itself has not been added to the list of "sleeping apps". Sleeping apps don't allow background data to run in the background. Often Android decides by itself to put an app into this category depending on how much you use this app. It's easy to check these two things. Just open settings and tap on the "notifications" section. Scroll down till you see a section called "tip" which talks about these two settings and has a link to both. Then a third thing to check: also in the notifications settings there is a section called "recently sent". A few apps will be listed and at the bottom of this list is a link "see all". Tap this link to show all apps on the phone. Search for WhatsApp and tap it. All the various settings that control notifications for that app are now displayed. Make sure the main setting "Show Notifications" slider is in the on position. Then under the "chats" section check that "show notifications" slider is also on. Under the "other section check that "call notifications" slider is also on. After checking all these settings you should get a notification now when someone messages you or calls you with WhatsApp:)
