Note20 Ultra mobile data doesn't work when wifi disconnects

After upgrading to Android 13 few months back, I have observed that Note20 Ultra doesn't switch to mobile data automatically when wifi disconnects, as in effectively to provide data access.

Mobile data always stays on along with wifi and whenever wifi disconnects, I am forced to toggle airplane mode to get mobile data working.

Is this a known bug or am I the only one?

Any solutions?

Moreover I'll port to Airtel since there is no hope for Jio5g.

You can try this "Mobile Data Always On" in Developer Option to see if it works.

If you have dropped your note 20 multiple times, I suggest you to get the handset checked for the antenna portion of the motherboard.
I am facing the same issue, and the Samsung service center showed me my network graph as proof.
They suggested to get it repaired, which is tough though. (90% success chance)
If not repairable then they might suggest to replace the motherboard, which is definitely not economically advisable for a 3 year old phone.

I haven't done the repair part yet.
Will update once I do by the end of this month.

Safe to say I have dropped it multiple times but the issue came up with OneUi 5.
I still have my Care+ for 2 more months so if it works for you, I'll get my handset replaced or atleast get all costs covered.
I'll await your next update!

Hey, i got my phone repaired. It works as good as any other latest phone.

One thing to note is that, they took almost 2 weeks as the spare part wasn't available.
