These are some of the issues observed after Pie update which you guys may / may not observe. 


-Updated yesterday (non beta)
-Note 9
-Music player options are white while controlling from notification pull down..
-Icon frame option is missing 
-Fingerprint is slow
-RAM shows 2 GB free.. even when no apps are running
-Battery backup degraded

I agree, also the old slide menu was good and it was more crisp and elegant. the new one is yak
