Hello everyone!

I bought a Galaxy Note 10+ recently and I instantly removed the Screen Protector Film and installed an aftermarket Tempered Glass (habit from my iPhone days) with some UV technology*. However, I observed that the Fingerprint Sensor has lost its efficiency after installing the tempered glass.

Now, I'm left with two choices

  1. Remove the tempered glass and use the phone with a plastic film as I am using an UAG Case

  2. Let the Tempered Glass and accept that being cautious comes at a cost.

I'd love to hear what the Note 10+ users think about it :)

TIA!

I have installed similar uv based tempered glass since I bought the phone 3 years back and never faced a single issue. In fact I have been very happy with this uv based tempered glass.

Maybe your brand of glass may not be good. Also if you apply tempered glass there is a setting in the phone to improve touch. Search in settings under display and put touch sensitivity toggle button to ON.

Hey buddy try to register the finger prints again after installing the UV tempered glass. I did the same thing for my S10 also.
