I previously had a note 10+ with ip68 rating, i have used my phone for recording underwater in a swimming pool. Samsung have said that ip68 rating is for 1.5 meters and i used the phone for around 4-5 foot and after 3 or 5 minutes it stopped working and the screen blacked out.  What do you say of that? Dont Samsung have to do anything of that? Whats the meaning of buying a expensive phone like this?😡

Was it a new phone or a few months old? As the phone ages, the glue degrades compromising the water resistance.

Yeah that would be the issue. I also have Note 10+ which I had bought at launch. The back glass of my phone was coming out at one side. I bought a glue and pasted it. I think they don't have good quality control.

Don't be salty with your experience. I agree its heartbreaking to have the phone dead after spending so much but it's not just samsung but no OEM actually warrant water resistance. They always have fine print somewhere mentioning water damage isn't covered and water ingress indicators are added despite water resistance.
