You can update the phone. Just make sure to clear cache partition after the update and update Google play services from Settings. I am using One UI 4 since few days and have not faced any bugs yet.

Has anyone noticed lag while using Instagram or Facebook or Twitter, there is lag which scrolling upbor down on the social media apps, this after the One UI 4 update.
