No sound in incoming calls

Hi everyone, 

Did any one of you faced a problem with incoming calls where the caller can't hear your voice but you can hear them? Whenever I receive a call, I have to end it and call them back so they can hear me. If yes how I can solve it? also, when I restart the phone the first call I receive -after restarting- every thing works fine i can hear the caller and she/he can hear me too, after that, the problem starts again.

I've sent a report of this issue to Samsung but still waiting for their response.

Hi,
It may be a temporary network issue. Check with your service provider if it doesn't works do the following steps.
1. Restart your device
2. Switch off your device - remove SIM card and insert it back after 10 seconds.

Thanks a lot, it worked .. I didn't call the network provider 'cuz the problem appears just when I receive a call. I followed the steps you wrote. Thanks again 😊🙏🏼

I have a similar problem of not hearing anyone, and on top of that, when calling someone, it instantly hangs up. It started after the February update. At first, i was going through the same process of restarting the device, and sim, in order to troubleshoot and track the issue, obviously the restart fixes everything since the stone ages, but found a faster way after several trials, you just need to turn on and off the airplane mode, it saved me a lot of time, it fixes it in less than 5 seconds, but that's just a workaround that needs a permanent solution. It's happening every other day too.

Hi there,

Please try the following steps in order to sort out the problem:

- From Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Search for network or search manual > Select the right network.

- Then Restart the phone.

- If the same issue exists, please open Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings > Enter the PIN of the screen > Reset network settings.

- Try another SIM card.

-Otherwise, please contact the network provider.

You can also dial *#0283# then to select the choice no. 1 (MIC) and try to say something then to check if you are able to hear your voice. If not so, it might be a hardware issue and you may need to submit your mobile to one of our authorized service centers in order to better assist you.
