No native support for Dolby Atmos

Unlike iPhones which now support Dolby vision and Atmos natively, Samsung phones with Dolby Atmos support is just another equalizer. Netflix app just shows HDR as Notes and S series supports that but what about Dolby Atmos? Is it just a rebranded equalizer and a marketing gimmick? I recently purchased iPhone 12 and the sound quality while watching a dolby atmos supported movie on netflix over headphones on the 12 is much better than what we get on our Notes. 

Does Samsung plan to integrate Atmos support in One UI 3.0 in the near future?

What are your thoughts about it?

Even i dont think they will. These small things leave a huge impact on the premiumness of the device. Where Samsung is simply focusing in increasing sales, Apple is focusing on small yet powerful features like this.

for Dolby atmos you can expect home theater like experience from the phone. it still fine for that speaker, moreover for proper atmos sound you need separate speakers setup..

Im not expecting home theatre like experience from a phone. My concern is with the native support for dolby atmos which is not present in top end Samsung devices even when Samsung never fails to include that in marketing their devices.

dear he is not talking about dolby atmos quality from mobile speakers.. he is talking about dolby atmos quality using earphones/ headphones. using headphones, it should work

apple is Apple and cannot be compared with orange. Samsung required another 10 more year to bring Apple's current performance and quality
