News: 100x zoom is pointless, and it looks like Samsung might agree with Note 20

Note20 series no longer retains 100X zoom function.

Galaxy Note20 + will still use 108mp HM1, but add a new sensor to assist in focusing and completely solve the focusing problem.

It looks like Samsung isn't very happy with the reception of the novelty feature so it has decided to go a different way.

Samsung has decided to include a more modest telephoto unit, but it's unclear if the periscope lens or the high-res sensor will be scraped. The S20 Ultra was capable of 3.5x optical zoom and made up for the rest by cropping from the big 48MP sensor.

Both the Note20 and Note20+ will come in August.

nobody needed 100x zoom..... even if they can add 1x more real optical zoom it will be more ground braking

S20. ultra has 4x optical zoom....

it's low but there it is....

i posted few things about that zoom and got banned for it 😶😅
