Does anyone have information about when Note 9 gets nearby sharing (Google's new AirDrop thing) ?

I doubt that, note9/s9 are at their end of life cycle (from SW updatea).
you may get security patches for the next few months.
this new feature may be available on note 10/ s10.

but the question is: "will this feature require the UWB to use it?
