My Note 9 is heating up a lot lately

My note9 is heating up like its on fire literally. If i charge it for a while or if i watch a movie the heat is unbearable. And this problem is since a few days now may be after a new software update. Please help or do i have to go to a Samsung service center for better solution.

Factory reset is advisable after any android version upgrade....so pls do it and charge your phone after reset in switch off mode till 100% and then start over....

Good thing is that Samsung made it IP68 water resistant. Put the phone on ice and then use it.
