I have updated the software and the security patch is also latest but the UI version is old, i.e. One UI 1.0 which lacks in a lot of features as compared to the later versions!
So, Is there any way I can update from my current version One UI 1.0 into One UI 1.1
see some internet sites already posted some articles regarding android q or v2.0 update..according to their lists note 8 is not eligible to get android 2.0..because they said the reason is only those devices launched with oreo version, only those devices will get android q update...but don't worry those are all gimmick..Samsung even not confirmed it...
one ui version provided by Samsung.its different and specific to each and every device.if you want version 1.1 then you have to root your device, which will void your device warranty and may your device will detroyed forever
