Go to samsung service center as quickly as possible and talk to samsung customer care also. I think ur handset is applicable for free screen replacement. Plz check it quickly otherwise u will late and no one will listen u. Keep it mind maintain ur handset for free screen replacement otherwise they do not replace by saying its body is damaged.

Really helpful dear. What BS can they give for not repairing my device?

What BS can they give for not repairing your device? -> Anything and everything. It's an old device it's not in their intention to fix it rather make you purchase a new one!

On a side note - This isn't your fault go to a service center tell them the issue and demand a free replacement. But keep in mind if you have even a scratch on your phone/Back panel they will deny it saying it's a fault on your side!

Well i believe in preparation before action! If you have any photo or video of device before the update without green line then save it. Go to service centre, tell them the issue and demand screen replacement.

-> Keep in mind they will try to potray its your fault, cut the BS Don't accept those allegations. Subconsiously and consiously even they know that its their fault and its quite common nowadays for old phones to get green line after an update. If they deny to replace just say you will post this on social media, This will seal the Deal!

Nowadays even sammy is playing cheap tricks and marketing gimmicks which in long run ruin its brand value and trust. I hope they repair your device because its their moral duty to give us the services they promised.

If not look for better options there are always better opportunities waiting for us to hop in!

I really appreciate your time. I'm an apple user switched to Samsung and enjoying it. If this a case then I guess have to stop using phones only 🤣.
I must address this your method of guiding is really amazing. It's really helpful I'm pissed off but now I know what to do thanks to you. Will visit centre on Monday 18-Feb-2024 let's see what happens.

I am also an apple user i use M1 Macbook Air & Airpods 3gen, the primary reason i pick android over ios is because i love open source apps that ios don't allow along with many small features that android gives as freedom.

Also samsung was very good , this cheap tricks & marketing gimmick started from previous 2 quaters, right now they are pretty messed up, they even ruined their Flagship S24 launch, after day 1 members app's whole feed was filled with s24 series issue

Thanks for the compliment i try to suggest & guide others in a way i would like to be guided, so just doing what i think i should do .

Lastly it's ok to be pissed off but the Silver lining is you are going to SS and trying thats what matters. In the end these companies will lose customers like us not the other way around. We will always have options!!

P.S - Best of luck for your screen replacement.
