I have been using the Galaxy Note 9(512GB) varaint for past 2 months almost. And am seeing the phone is mostly warm and over heats at scenarios..
Also could see a worst battery life of Max 3.30 hours of Screen on Time.
Phone is getting very hot in these scenarios with below temperature record. Battery temperature(Whole bottom of the phone) - 41 C or more CPU temperature (Left to the camera) - 50 C or more.
I compared with these scenarios with the with a Oneplus 6.
Oneplus 6 doesn't have these issues and I didn't face overheating issues.I am not sure what is the carbon cooling system doing..! And also could see sudden battery drains sometime. From 7% to 0% within seconds.! Really shocked.
I pre booked and purchased this phone.I have reporting this from day 3 of my purchase. When I handed over to the service centre for heat test they just check video playback and few apps and say no heating!
Really worst service .The best thing is they gave back the phone with Scratches on back glass which is still annoying! The service centre defend themselves that they handled with care. How can a phone with a Gorilla glass at back can get scratches in 5 days when even the own case is clear without any damage!
Seriously guys..! I knew one thing - I was really cheated for this 85K. I am posting this in this Community to see if I am the only one with this heating issue and worst service experience who is helpless at the moment!
A email to CEO desk is also helpless.These people say that we should check the heat gun when overheating! But how stupid it is? How can you expect a customer to buy a heat gun just for the purpose and curse of buying this phone and prove its faulty???!!!
I believe there not all units have the proper quality checks and also could see Samsung's Exynos chip is also fault as S9 has same issue!
Request other users to reply/comment for similar concern.This is not against Samsung but I want them to really get attention on this issue and take this serious!
How can Oneplus 6 under same scenarios get 6 Hours of SOT and this only 3.30? Also Oneplus 6 stays super cool without any insensible heating!
