Hello, I'm using Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N950U1). Last month I received an updated, which I did promptly. 3 days ago I was normally using my phone when I noticed my phone was affected by black crush. I did a lot of research on this issue and people provided me with solutions such as using the app Screen Balance, but it didn't work. Could anyone clarify if it's a software issue or a hardware issue? TIA

it's your display which has gone bad over the time. Perhaps you need replacement.

Recently got in my Note8 too...I am pretty sure it's not a display issue...I had recently replaced the display in service center due to damage. It was working fine for 6 months.Seems many are facing this.
