The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was among the most feature packed phones of 2020, with its slick 120Hz QHD+ OLED massive screen, a solid Exynos 990 processor, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery, packs a microSD card slot (which I never used thanks to the 256GB of internal memory), also a great camera specs that can deliver a crispy clear photos and videos, and not to forget the S-PEN gestures and remote control capabilities.

In addition Samsung is promising three major OS updates for the device.
The phone launched with Android 10 and received an upgrade to Android 11, which means you can expect Android 12 and Android 13 at least and can be one of the best devices for the next year or two.

In my personal experience the device is great, I love the One UI experience, and I never faced any issues with it except for having to re-register my fingerprint data almost every couple of months.

Never faced and overheating or fast battery drainage issues during calls and data usage, for all of that I can say it's one of the best solid devices I ever had.

The Note 20 Ultra 5G is without a doubt the most beautiful phone that Samsung has ever made. With it's "squared side" appearance and beautiful mystic bronze color. Personally, it looks nicer than the S21 Ultra.

Despite being more expensive, we think the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is the better deal. It's hard to recommend the regular Note 20 at $1,000 since it has a plastic back and lacks a lot of features you get with the Ultra and other phones in this price range.

The front glass also gets a downgrade from the all-new Gorilla Victus found on the Note 20 Ultra. Instead, the vanilla model uses Gorilla Glass 5 to cover the display. That’s the kind of trade-off some may be prepared to make for a $300 price reduction. But when every other part of the Note 20’s design screams premium and you’re trading blows with other immaculate $1,000 devices, the unsatisfying feeling of plastic on your palm — itself exacerbated by the faux-frosted texture — acts as a constant reminder that Samsung cut a huge corner that’s very hard to justify on a flagship phone.

Sadly, the head-scratching design decisions don’t stop there. Like the Galaxy Notes 10  before it, the Galaxy Note 20 doesn’t offer expandable storage. However, what’s more, puzzling is a seemingly innocuous change from the Note 10 series. The S Pen and bottom-firing speaker are now on the left side of the base of the phone.
