[FIXED] No HD video payback support on Netflix and Prime Video

Hi,

After updating to One UI 3.1, Note 10 Lite lost HD / HDR video playback on Netflix and Prime Video.

Widevine DRM downgrade to L3 after update, which is affecting this.

All the Note 10 Lite devices are affected, could be some other devices as well.

Update : 13/04/2021 > After updated to the latest version, issue resolved. It is recommended to reinstall those apps where you are having HD playback issue.

Yes. With the latest April update, the issue has been fixed :) Now Note 10 lite is back to widevine L1 status.

I can confirm with the latest update, this issue fixed.
Now HD playback possible on both Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Note : Reset the existing apps or do a reinstall.

What is the firmware version you are running?
If it is the latest version, have you tried reinstalling the applications?

Netflix I had tried deleting data app, uninstalling, reinstalling via ch play.but still L3 and SD .

Maybe I haven't received the notice to update Security 1/4.

Finally, the phone has watched fullHD Netlflix Content.

After system upgrade, netflix upgrade, delete app data.

I wonder why netflix doesn't show HDR content on this phone?
