A few days back I had posted on the forum regarding dust inside the camera module of my note 8. The link is attached below.

So I finally took the phone to a service center today, and turns out the problem of lens flare/ghost which I was facing supposedly due to a speck of dust on my primary lens is prevalent across all the cameras of samsung, atleast all that I tested at the service center. Not sure even if its an issue or just some lens optics at play. But the service centre executive advised me against opening up the phone to remove the dust/whatever that is on the lens as it isn't the cause of the flare/ghost. Also it may compromise the sanctity of the phone seal and more foreign objects may enter. Which even in my opinion was a logical call to take and I agreed with him on that. I am attaching a photo of the issue, let me know if other fellow members are also experiencing something similar.
Note: take the photo with the light source in front of the camera lens to find out if you're experiencing this flare/ghost issue or not.

Find below my shot and a gif of this issue for your reference

Why didn't you get the camera module changed at the service center?

This flare issue was prevalent throughout every single phone I checked and tested at the service center. Also in my own S8 as well, So clearly this flaring was not because of that speck. Besides my phone is running perfectly fine with no issues whatsoever *touchwood* so I did not see the point in getting it opened up only to remove a speck. Also, the service exec advised against it. So....

Strictly speaking there is no issue with the phone both in terms of hardware or software. Although there was an option to open up the camera module and clean it, the service exec advised against it and even I personally thought it was not a wise call to make, as it may complicate things more. Why just fiddle with a perfectly fine working unit and open it up ?
As for the lens flare/ghosting issue is concerned it is there in all samsung devices. You can check the same with your own unit by pointing it towards a point source of light eg. a led bulb or led street light. It has something to do with internal reflection within the lens setups. So this issue of lens flare is not due to that speck of dust.
