Display weird

Something is off with my note 20 ultra 5g. Whenever I put my hand near my front camera my display goes dark but it dosent off my phone.

Pls help

Hi, are you experiencing this during normal use or during calls? if during calls then it's the proximity sensor, this should happen when you’re on a call to avoid any accidental touches.

Go to settings > Display > Accidental Touch Protection and check if it's on then turn it off and try.

usually this sensor make the screen off during calls, may be there is software problem , try to switch of the phone and switch on again, if still same
problem you have to reset it
as in attached picture , if the problem not solved then you have to make factory reset after saving your data

If turned on in settings, your device can measure the brightness in your surroundings through an ambient light sensor on the top of the device. I believe you are covering that sensor while keeping your hand near camera.

Let's try to turn it off by opening Settings > Display > adaptive brightness & TURN OFF THE TOGGLE.

Try keeping your hand on top of the device and let us know whether it made any difference.
