Difference between Optical Zoom and Digital Zoom

What's the difference between Optical Zoom and Digital Zoom and what functions they both carry...?

first understand the thing optical & digital.
Optical means optics(lens). Optical zoom uses camera lens as we uses in DSLR camera lenses.
Digital zoom only enlarge image which capture by digital camera sensor.
Digital zoom can never capture the quality & depth of an image of an optical zoom

And how to activate or use Optical zoom in phones/note10+...?

there is no particular option to trigger the optical zoom. If your mobile/device comes with optical zoom it already activated/enabled.

Optical zoom is superior to Digital zoom and many phones only have digital zoom except for few high hand phones. But success of good photography is with DSLR. Cheers

but how 1 can select Optical Zoom option in Note10+....?

There is no selection. it works by default. specially in rear camera that too the telescopic lens , not wide or super wide.
