Up until last week, i was able to use the Link Sharing app on my Note 9 but after the update (version 12.3.00.7), via Galaxy Store, I cannot get it to work. It always prompts me to allow access to Storage but once I hit allow nothing happens.  From Settings > Apps > Link Sharing > App Settings > Permissions, out of three required permission i can allow access to Contacts and Camera, but not Storage. its grayed out at "Deny" and can't be to "Allow". Could someone please help me out with this.

FYI i don't have any third-party apps on my phone which could cause this issue.

Thanks in advance!!

Try after Clearing the cache and data.
Apps > Link Sharing > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data. Thank you.

I am having the same issue above and this did not work. The option to allow storage permission is greyed out. Link sharing was the only way i could share pictures, this is so annoying

Again after updating to 12.4.01.2 can't access link sharing. Storage access is grayed out with deny. Is there a way to fix this?

Even tried uninstalling updates still, no luck.

Plz help 🙏

Hi,

Kindly try after Clearing the cache and data through the below steps:

Apps > Link Sharing > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data.

Then try to do a soft reset for the device by pressing and holding the Power button and the Volume down button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. This will Not delete any data from the device.

If the problem persists, please send us an Error Report by following the steps below.

Head to the Members app > Get Help > Error Report > Tap 'OK' to send System Log Data > Select the symptom, and include as much detail as possible.

To ensure your logs accurately reflect the issue you're experiencing, we'd like you to submit your report within 5 minutes of encountering the problem. Our engineers will then investigate this and respond to you with a solution via the Members app.

Same issue here.

Link Sharing Service Storage perm is grayed out.

Clearing cache / data / removing update / rebooting / Does not help.

Hi! Are you still using this phone? Did you find any solution? I am currently dealing with the same issue. It was working at first but when I updated it, it stopped working. Thanks in advance.
