If your phone is running on android pie, call recorders won't work. It will record your sound properly, but the second party sound will be so feeble.
The only available solution is to either root your phone or to install a regular call recorder app (am using ACR) and to put the calls to be recorded on loudspeaker so that the second party voice will also be recorded.

In some regions galaxy Note 9 do have call recording.
