I am using Note 8 and it is showing the charging status as cable charging instead of fast charging. I used to face this kind of issues earlier as well but it usually went away by just reinserting the charging cable but today it remains same even after reconnecting the charging multiple time.

Try changing the usb cable you use it can be damaged and might have stopped this

You Are Having Cable or Adapter Issue Please Check it With Service Center With Another Cable And Adapter it is working or not At least You Will Know What is the Issue

1) Kindly use fast charging cable and enable fast charging by navigating to Settings >> Device Maintenance >> Battery >> Tap on three dots >> Advanced Settings.
2) Reset the device settings by navigating to Settings >> General Management >> Reset >> Reset Settings.
3) Check the issue in Safe Mode.
4) Keep updating the device via FOTA or Smart Switch.
5) Take full data backup and reset the device.
