I turned on the buttons after the update instead of gestures. New buttons has an option of auto hide by double tap on a small dot on the left hand side screen. After you so that, the edge screen widget doesn't open.
However, if you deactive auto hide navigation bar, the edge screen opens properly. This needs to be fixed.
Additionally, on Instagram, the keyboard covers the entire 'input' screen, making it impossible to send chats/ messages. You have to lower down your keyboard to send chats.

reset app preferences and clear cache reinstall good lock and navistar u need to swipe from bottom of screen to get navigation bar swipe gently and navigation bar does appear best is to not auto hide if you're having too much trouble handling it not able to get it back onscreen👍👍👍👍👍
i found the answer in my note 10 plus when i swipe up for the nav bar edge screen shows see in screenshot u have to go into handle settings of edge screen from gear icon down below and select 3 dots go to handle settings and select colour like green orange and increase width of handle use vibration to doubly check that u touched the edge handle👍👍👍👍👍👍my edge panel shows when i swipe up for navigation bar only else both hide
