This problem popped up after software updates.
Battery life is good though, as per Samsung service centre.
Please take care.

Initialy whenevr you install a software update, your samsung device learns to optimize your usage. So it drinks a lot of juice than it used to. You'll be good in a couple of days dont worry.

If the problem persists after updating for more than a week, there are some settings you have to modify, including background running apps, screen brightness, and standard or normal power type. Restart the device between each change.

To address the battery drain concern, we recommend performing additional troubleshooting steps to identify the root cause of the issue. These steps may include:

1. Update Software: Ensure that your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
   - Step 1: Go to Settings > Software update.
   - Step 2: Tap on Download and install.
   - Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Setup Phase: Your new phone’s battery may initially drain faster as you set up applications and features. This is part of the setup phase, and background operations are optimized during this time. Allow a few days for all background operations and syncing to complete.

3. 5G Service Impact: While connected to a 5G network, your phone may consume more battery than usual due to the high-speed processing of large-capacity data. Consider optimizing overall usage and adjusting background usage limits.

4. Optimization Steps:
   - Open Settings > Battery and device care > Optimize now.
   - Adjust Background usage limits: Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits.

5.  Use adaptive battery: Settings > Battery and device care > More battery settings > Adaptive battery.

If you have attempted these steps without success, we kindly request you to visit the nearest service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center using the following link: (https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/service-center/)

Phantom tax” is a term that refers to a tax liability that is incurred without actually receiving any cash or tangible benefits. This can happen when there’s taxable income on paper, but no real money to pay the taxes. It often surprises taxpayers and can cause financial strain. Common examples include forgiven debt, certain stock compensations, and some investment distributions.
