Was an ardent Oneplus user (have used oneplus 3, 5, 6, Nord) and never thought that I will shift to any other device. However after a lot of persuasion from my friend, I finally bought Note20. First few days were difficult but finally you get used to.
Sharing my views on using the phone for a month now
1. Now i know the importance of "focusing on finer details" - ux of oneplus is far far better than Samsung phone. Samsung is such a sluggish phone. Slow Fingerprint sensor, face unlock doesn't work, animations are so slow. Keyboard **bleep**!
2. Fast charging lol. It takes approx 2 hrs to charge the phone. U call it a fast charging?
3. Battery lasts for half a day. This is the first time I have started carrying my power bank where ever I go.
4. Smart phone??? How can someone call this a smart phone. U have to refer to youtube again and again to look at how things work on this phone. The search doesn't even search common terms. Haven't seen any smart feature on the phone apart from the s-pen (which also has limited usage)
5. Phone heats up while watching movies or playing a game. I think I need coolent to cool things down.
6. Calls gets dropped, missed (as phone doesn't ring).
7. Have to restart phone over and over again to ensure all app works properly

In short, 55k gone in drain which could have been saved.

- Samsung has terrible battery backup efficiency.
- Exynos 990 is Samsung's worst flagship processor which uses their own custom Mongoose cores. It lead them to shut down their Mongoose department completely.

OnePlus Nord uses a mid range Processor. Mid range processors have much better battery backup compared to the flagships.

Heyy. It seems you had a very bad experience switching brands. This would have happened.
See the main problems is that you are More of an Oxygen OS guy rn. So it will b3 hard for you to use Samsung as it is very different from One Plus. But after you will get to know about Samsung’s ecosystem and UI then you will be quite satisfied with the software experience Of the Full Ui and Flagship features you get with that(Except less optimised processor which leads to heating . Those call drop things and Restarting also similar. )

The reason why you phone cjarges slow can be due to the less capacity of the charger we get with the phone. But actually that is a measure taken to increase the battery health because The more faster you charge your phone. The more faster it's battery decreases. So if you use a 65 Watt charging( idk about Oneplus chargers so just a guess, correct me with the charger rating pls) your phone is likely to last lesses and lesser faster than a 25 watt one. (No one can stop health degradation although)

I guess Oneplus Nord uses 30W charging.

Honestly, I must say, his claims are actually true.
Just 1 year of 25W charging shouldn't degrade a battery more than what 30W does.
Samsung definitely lacks battery backup efficiency, since the beginning.

But if someone will want improvement then it would be in the performance and optimisations first and then battery backup.
