it is compatibility issue
now a days otg coming with model specific
buy otg which compatible to your device, it should mentioned ur device name/ model or atleast mentioned as "supported all type c devices "

but previously I have used the same otg usb device, but now not working.

yes in the same device. but since last update its not working, non of the otg devices are working, I have to use external biometric devices for AEPS services but I am not able to do my work.

that means something went wrong ,do visit service centre if possible and as of now do few things
1. wipe Cache Partition

Steps to perform.
1) Turn off the device.

(Connect with type C cable/type C earphone only for Android 11)
OR
IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER MOBILE THEN CONNECT WITH CABLE WHETHER IT IS TYPE C TO TYPE C OR MICRO USB PORT take help of otg connector to connect other mobile.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the power button.
3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".
5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.
6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

2 Reboot in a safemode

steps to turn safemode;
long press on power button>
long press on power off option>click on safemode >your mobile will restart and turn into safemode.

you can try one more thing

settings >apps>click 3 lines right side of "your apps" enable "show system app"

search in search bar (just type USB SETTING">click on it>storage >clear cache and data
Restart your phone and then try.

but my father has the same mobile. samsung m21 . in that phone same issue, otg not working. don't give excuse. just fix the problem.
