I have been using Secure Folder for many years and it is extremely important for my privacy and security. In previous One UI versions, when I exited Secure Folder or pressed the Home button, the folder used to lock automatically. This was the most useful feature for me because it ensured the folder closed instantly as soon as I left it.
After updating to One UI 8 (Android 16), this behaviour has changed. Now Secure Folder does not lock immediately when exiting, and the option “Lock when leaving Secure Folder” or “Lock on exit” is missing. This affects privacy and security because there is a chance that the folder stays unlocked in the background.
I kindly request Samsung to bring back the auto-lock on exit feature in Secure Folder in the next update.
Many users depend on this feature and it was one of the main reasons we used Secure Folder regularly.

I have trusted Secure Folder for years because it always locked instantly after exiting. That single feature gave me peace of mind. After updating to One UI 8, the auto lock on exit is gone and now I feel insecure using Secure Folder. Please bring back this feature — many of us rely on it every day.
Kindly complaint to Samsung customer care support through Samsung Members App as a error report also send log files along with this error report for this issue and wait for next update it's maybe fix it by Samsung team soon. Team....we need the secure folder to be locked automatically when left or when we leave the app, it is very annoying that everytime we need to lock it and of forget our secure data is compromised, please enable the feature to lock it automatically when leave or closing the app
