restore old mi phone backup

I just switched from mi phone to Samsung , I do have mi backup on Google drive but I am not able to find restore option there , any help ?

What kind of backup you need ? Your google account is sufficient for most of the required things. Contacts, apps, settings are auto synced by google and you can upload your Mi phone gallery pics to google photos app. This is what I have been doing for few years now. No need for custom restore solutions.

I want to restore all my messages etc I am not finding an option to restore it

I think you cannot restore your messages but if you have backed up whatsapp messages then you can restore them in whatsapp itself and other backups like contacts will automatically updated if you are connected to your Gmail account

The issue persists as it appears. I have several important exchanges backed up but being unable to load them back is an issue.
