Galaxy MCheck the widevine support installing https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidfung.drminfo. Here widevine CDM > Security Level should be L1 for HD support. Samsung M30S has L1 even after latest update. So this issue may not be disabling of widevine suport that is suspected.
Had a word with amazon customer support about this. This seems to be a strategy by amazon to reduce HD/Ultra HD bandwidth usage during lockdown.
For stream/download issue in prime app, goto - my stuff > settings > Stream&Download
Here uncheck "use hardware acceleration". Now you can watch/download in all formats except Ultra HD/4K in mobile app

Galaxy MI have already contacted amazon through mails and chat. According to them the restriction was only on mobile data not on wifi I mean broadband connection. Also it has been lifted from 20 June and we can watch HD content on both mobile data and WiFi. I even watched HD content on June 30. From July 1st after security Update every m30s user is facing this issue. Yes drm info shows L1 certified but Netflix streaming specifications shows L3 certified. Its a bug not a strategy by amazon or any.
