A few days ago, I posted about a pink line appearing on my M52 5G. Samsung support commented, asking me to send my contact info via the "Ask Questions" tab. After I shared my info, they instructed me to visit a service center, have my device inspected, and share the job sheet.

At the service center, I was told to leave my phone and return in 3 hours. My phone was in perfect condition—no scratches, just the pink line—and I made a video of it before submission.

When I returned, they claimed my phone had water damage. This was outrageous since my phone had never been exposed to water. They pointed to a litmus paper inside the phone that had changed color. They said despite the phone's parts working fine, the color change voided my warranty, and I wouldn’t get a free display replacement.
i asked them twice if there is any liquid damage to any parts of the phone, they said no just the color of the paper is changed and all parts are working fine. i said ok just return the phone.

after receiving my phone back, it had a big scratch on the side, and after reaching home i found out the vibration motor wasn’t working.

still I sent the job sheet to Samsung members team and waited for their call.

now i just got a call from their team and obviously they repeated the bogus liquid damage claim and refused a free replacement. I highlighted that many users reported similar issues on Twitter, but they denied any fault. So I requested a written email from them saying the line resulted from water damage, not software updates or a defective display, but they refused as expected and said we can not tell you the exact reason for the appearance of line.

Now, my phone has a display line, a scratch, and a non-functional vibration motor. Even if I sell it, I won't get more than 7k for the phone i spent 22k on.

I strongly suspect the service center tampered with the litmus paper to avoid a free replacement.

because the phone would be dead of it had any liquid damage right?
the phone is working completely fine even this post i am writing is made from the same phone.

Samsung provides free replacements for S series phones but uses these shady tactics to avoid it for non-S series. Think twice before buying a non-S series Samsung phone.

Their customer service is a disgrace, and they don’t care about their customers at all.
made this post to make you all aware about how they will use these cheap tricks to hide their fault.

atleast companies like oneplus accepts their fault and gives options to the consumer.

shame

Thank you for your time.
