it's not your phones fault it's the apps fault here let me try to help

option 1: try uninstalling messenger and installing it again

option 2:log out and log in again

option 3:clear cache and the apps data

option 4:turn off your wifi/data and open it again

if the problem still occurs go and ask/message for help in messengers developer
