m30s front camera quality is very poor

Even my 3 years old s7 edge 5MP front camera is performing better than my m30s 16MP.

I think there is an issue in focusing in front camera. Camera is unable to focuse the subject in front of it and that's why we are getting very blurry image.

Hope Samsung will address this issue and try to resolve it via and update.

it's not because of megapixels, it's depending on aparture of lens

s7 edge have camera aparture 1.7 where 2.2 is for your current device
