how to stop this?

Hey guys I'm using M21 running latest one ui 2.5.

Pls tell me how to stop working this Google app in background.. I've attached the screenshot of battery usage. It's draining my battery in background.

Pls help me out friends.!

If you are using only for searching something use Chrome instead and if it consuming so much battery Uninstall it

I'm not using it at all for anything.. And it is impossible to uninstall

If you don't use Google assistant, then you can try uninstalling it using ADB, but please do it carefully and go through the XDA developers site thoroughly.

disable it i too have disabled coz i always use samsung internet and bixby no google 😉

M series don't have Bixby

There must be something you have left open,

first turn off sync
and hold on google icon and then click on app info
and turn off background battery usage under battery section
and turn of background data usage under Mobile data section

after few days you can see change
