carrier aggregation in M30s

Hey M30s users yesterday i extracted the diag logs from my M30s. Really got frustrated after seeing UE capability information. 

See this M30s is using ue-Category 4 means lte cat4 modem which is lot older. 

Sad news is cat4 mondem doesn't supports carrier aggregation.  

This is confirmed by CA Combos also

Still don't understand it exynos 9611 has LTE- A capability but what about modem ? Which version of shannon modem was used in M30s which has only lte cat4 capability? 

So i guess this post from a year user mentioning about this is true.

if modem itself doesn't support how can we expect it through OTA update?

I mentioned in my previous post on Carrier aggregation that J7 prime and ON NXT showing CA its because J7 prime has lte dual band cat4/6 shannon 315 modem. As ON NXT is almost similar to J7 prime I'm guessing it also has that capability.  Thats the reason i can see CA in both that devices.  

Conclusion:

So, My m30s has nothing special except battery which also getting degraded with software updates..

Does your device got CA from beginning or it was Updated through OTA ??
