Samsung m21's uptade patch is of 1st april .

There should be a new uptade ,in which  it should have a new feature of edge lighting on receiving notifications .

I am not sure about the features. But, we can expect next update to be soon. Since, M series updates come quarterly.

edge lighting, Knox etc is reserved for A series and flagships not for M series. This is the way Samsung differentiates between budget and premium segment.

but why edge lightning does not require any extra ordinary display or any complex mechanism?

if they will provide features of premium segment in budget series then who will buy their premium series? Its a way to lure customers into buying premium series.
