Wifi 2.4 GHz link speed after One UI 3.1 Update Samsung M40

After One UI 3.1 update my wifi 2.4 GHz link speed doesn't go higher than 72 mbps, before update it was 150 mbps. Other devices on my network are getting 144 mbps link speed.

P.S. Wifi Router 2.4 GHz channel width is set to 40 MHz.

Does your phone and your router support 5 Ghz band?
2.4 gives better range but has less speed.
For 5 ghz, it's vice versa.
Try to connect to 5 ghz if you have the option.

Yes both router and phone supports 5 ghz. But in outside world many are still using 2.4ghz. Like my relatives and friends wifi, it affects me as most of the time i am at their place.

Bro 2.4 Ghz only gives upto 72Mbps in samsung device and it's vary how much distance your router from you "less distance high-speed(depending upon signal strength)".
And 5 Ghz gives upto 150 Mbps.

Before One UI 3.1 update I used to get 150mbps link speed on 2.4GHz and 433mbps link speed on 5GHz, after update I am getting link speed of 72mbps on 2.4GHz and 5GHz link speed remains the same 433mbps.
Talking about the actual speed when tested on speedtest dot net on my 200mbps plan, I used to get 90 mbps on 2.4GHz before update and getting 40mbps after update both tested when close to router. On 5GHz I am getting 210mbps both before and after update.
