Friends, when it comes to Samsung phones priced between 15,000 to 20,000 INR, what do you find to be the most disappointing feature? If I were to share my opinion, I’d say the Exynos processor is the worst part. What about you? Let me know in the comments below. I’ve shared mine, now it’s your turn

Display and Knox are definitely standout features, but there’s more to consider like the UI, software updates, and overall reliability. What features do you value most in a phone

That's a fair point. Knox and the display are definitely strong reasons to choose Samsung. However, brands like Samsung also focus on regular updates, longer software support, and premium build quality that budget brands might not consistently provide. It depends on what features matter most to you. Would love to hear what other features you value in a phone

Currently I'm using redmi ₹15,500, Poco ₹12k and Samsung ₹20,600, I got regular updates from everyone without delay.
Personal opinion about important things which is needed by customers
1. security(Priority)
2. performance for multitasking 3. display
4. battery
5. Camera
6. Dedicated customer support
Tell me which features made Samsung different from another brands.?
Expections not included in Samsung phones
1. Network speed indicator
2. App lock
3. Screen recording
Thousands of times user requested for these 3 features but Samsung never listen to their customers also giving 6 years of long update with cheap processors, be honest, tell me will you use your phone for 6 years with cheap and slow processor..?

Your analysis is valid, and it’s great that you’ve compared multiple brands. Samsung does stand out in a few key areas:

1. Security: Samsung’s Knox provides defense-grade security, especially useful for privacy-conscious users. While other brands offer decent security, Knox remains unmatched in terms of integration and real-time protection.

2. Software Support: Samsung’s commitment to 4-5 years of updates ensures longevity. However, I agree that pairing this with mid-range processors can limit long-term performance, making this update policy more beneficial for flagship models.

3. Brand Ecosystem: Features like SmartThings, Samsung DeX, and Galaxy Store provide a cohesive and versatile ecosystem that’s hard to replicate.

Your expectations are spot on. The absence of a network speed indicator, app lock, and a robust screen recorder is frustrating, especially since budget brands include them. Samsung does need to listen more to these user requests.

Regarding the 6-year update cycle with lower processors – I think it’s realistic for flagship models but not for mid-range devices where performance degradation might be noticeable after a few years. A balance between hardware and software updates is crucial. What’s your take on that

I get your point. Under 20k Samsung may not offer the best performance compared to other brands like Poco or Redmi. However, features like Knox security and regular updates still set it apart for users who prioritize those aspects over raw performance. It’s all about personal preference and what you value most in a phone
