Am using samsung galaxy M20. 

After the recent security patch update. USB (Pendrive) not detected in my device. 

Is there any solution for this?

Quite urgent.

try these steps and lets see

Go to settings >apps>click on 3 dot at right top corner>click on show system app >searchin search bar (just type USB SETTING">click on it>storage >clear cache and data
Restart your phone and then try.

A. Wipe Cache Partition.
Steps to perform.
1) Turn off the device.
2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.
3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".
5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.
6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

B. Reset App Preferences.
Settings >Apps> Tap on Top Right 3Dots and select Reset App preferences.

If i try option A, any data will lost?? after rebooting/restart the system.

try turning on Safe mode and turning it off...
if that don't work ask for help from Samsung support

You must need to change your otg connector.use branded usb connector.
