To understand 4G+ (4G Advance) / CA

Those who want to know what 4G Advance is 4G+ ( most M series & lower end A series don't have this ) is upto 4 times better than 4G.

2CA implies that it will have combination of 2 different frequencies/bands.
Their are 2 types of CA.
inter band CA - different frequency combination e.g : Band 3 + band 40, Band 5 + Band 40 of Jio.
intra band CA : same frequency overlapping. e.g Band 40 + Band 40 Jio. like almost all of Xiaomi phones above 10k after Note 7 Pro supports this only.
band 3 : 1800 MHz
band 5 : 850 MHz
band 40 : 2300 MHz.

4g+ means airtel i guess.. in airtel you have to lock lte bands to get constant CA. if not though it shows 4g sometimes it uses 3g bands thats the reason.

Yes I use airtel but my a50 doesn't show 4g+ since since some months now. Does your a50s show 4g+ ?

yes when i lock band 3,8,40 using quick shortcut maker.. its shows 4g+ . shows lte only in sim card manager but problem is whenever i restart or use flightmode it chages to auto and i see only 4g.
and primary data sim is jio and it shows lte+ always. so the problem is with airtel it uses 3g bands and fluctuates between 4g & 3g.

actually its not that fast. it will vary depending on various external parameters

That is why I said "upto 4 times".
depends if You got 2CA like in A50, A50s, A70, A70s, A51.
3CA in OnePlus 6T & above Smartphones or Samsung A71 & A90.
4CA in OnePlus 8 series only or all Snapdragon 865 phones.
