Screen wake up when SMS comes

Does anyone know how to disable screen wakeup when SMS comes? I am not using Always On Display.
Played around with notification settings of App but nothing seems to be working. Is it a bug?

Its feature of samsung message which you cannot turn off.

Use any other sms app if its irritating you.

thats strange and undesirable, unnecessary wastage of battery.

please try flash notification from accessibility settings...when message will arrived then your display or camera light will flash
