“Samsung Support Can’t Explain One UI 7 Delay for M14 4G (ODM)

It has been almost half a year since the One UI 7 rollout started, and most supported models — including the Galaxy M14 4G — received the update during that time.
So why have some M14 4G units still not received it?

My phone’s CSC is ODM, and despite checking every single day for months, I still haven’t received One UI 7. Meanwhile, I have several friends who also own the M14 4G, bought from the same official Samsung store, same model, same RAM, same color — and they received the update six months ago.

I understand CSC differences can cause delays, but a six-month delay is not normal or acceptable.

I also called Samsung Bangladesh support several times, but they repeatedly said they “don’t know anything” about software update schedules or delays.
If the official support team doesn’t know about Samsung’s own software updates, then what is the point of having a support service?

Because of this issue, my phone still hasn’t received any of the recent security patches either. This leaves my device at unnecessary security risk. And I’m not the only one — many users with the M14 4G are still stuck without the update despite being fully eligible.

Samsung needs to take responsibility for this delay. If customer security and timely updates cannot be ensured, then please don’t advertise guaranteed updates when selling these devices.

I contacted Samsung support in Bangladesh several times, but they know nothing about software update/ One UI 7 rollout, end . Didn't expect that from official support.

I was in the same boat with my mom's m14. Samsung BD peeps know nothing about anything, no real after-sale services. They gave me a bunch of stupid replies about updates. Had to manually download the March update (when I begin making inquiries about it) myself and update the phone with my laptop and Odin. There's always a chance of bricking so I was worried but it worked out well for me. Mom's M14 has been getting regular updates since then, has also gotten one ui 7. I downloaded the firmware from samfw, must download the one with correct country code (BKD for BD).
