Samsung Pay Mini showing up in Contactless payment settings

Any idea why Samsung Pay Mini is showing up in Contactless payment apps list? Is it going to support NFC payments soon?

Well if your Phone supports NFC then I guess It will work in future updates. Or may be it is because samsung pay mini is a contactless payment app like G pay.

Why not just give Samsung Pay instead of going through all this trouble? I would've gladly accepted Samsung Pay Mini if my device didn't support NFC and Knox. But, limiting software is incredibly stupid and a waste of resources.

Interesting. Any speculation that we will get it in future update?

No. I don't think they'll provide Samsung Pay for M series users. They took a lot of effort to provide Samsung Pay Mini. Samsung is not so customer-focused to scrap all that hardwork and just provide us Samsung Pay. But, NFC will be useless otherwise. Currently, Google Pay only supports NFC payments for VISA card users of select banks. Curious to see how things unfold.
