If you are 2 sim card in your phone then Switch your sim 2 for 2G only.

Steps:- 1- Open settings 

2- Go to Connections 

3- Sim card Manager 

4- Select Sim 2 and switch for 2g Only.

soch lo to zara before you suggest such useless solutions. Why not buy a Samsung Guru or a Nokia 3315 if you want to keep it on 2G on whichever SIM? The phone is meant to have dual 4G and it is a proven fact that the phone struggles to keep the network stable.
